For the past 3 years I’ve lived nomadically across Australia & India, with the mission of making music from beautiful places. However, after being hosted by the Indonesian government to be a part of the launch of a Digital Nomad Village over there - I felt a new vision rise within me.

I observed how my nomadic brethren & I required the same conditions to hit optimal productivity & creativity. The big needs were clean rooms, high speed internet, nutritious food, and affordable long-term living

The small needs were warm light, strategic plug points, the peace & quiet of nature and the option to socialise with like-minded people.

Considering that my family had the perfect property for this - 150 acres of untouched forest 3 hours from Goa, I sought their blessings to convert it into Jungli the Nomad Village: a place where people come to do their best work.

My new mission is to facilitate this dream life for my wider community, and celebrate the journey & creations that come from it.

Why Jungli?

I grew up in the jungles of Dandeli - in the campus where this nomad village will be.

Often shirtless, up a tree, or both - I was lovingly called a Jungli by my environment. The word always stuck with me - reminding me of my roots, connection to nature, and lack of interest in following the conventions set by ‘the city people’.

My first DJ set from my 3 year audio nomad adventure was therefore titled Jungli, and one of my 10 recent artist playlists also carry this name.

The dictionary defines a Jungli as someone that's wild and uncultured. However - to me, the Jungli’s are a community of nomads, artists, entrepreneurs & nature-lovers that peacefully rebel against the norm by carving their own path; tucked away in the jungle.

I’m stoked that 130+ Jungli’s from around the globe are helping inform the experience design of this nomad village via an exclusive Whatsapp group.

Pricing

I recently conducted a survey with the Jungli Community to create a pricing model that would be sustainable for business while remaining affordable for its residents.

Here’s my family’s first go at pricing, but please note that our prices will change in the future as we learn our expenses more closely.

Long-term residents are rewarded with deep discounts

Delicious, local, home food so that you can get time back!

So how much will life at Jungli cost overall?

How does this pricing land with you? Tell us in this one question, anonymous survey below.

How did we arrive at this pricing?

Through the survey with The Jungli Community - we uncovered a lot of key insights. Here are 3 of them:

  • The average nomad wants to live at Jungli for 18 days

  • Only 1 in 5 Jungli’s want a workspace built into their room

  • Given the option of delicious & affordable home food, not one Jungli would rather cook most or all of the time!

Insights like these are helping us create a village that truly caters to the needs of the modern day nomad. Click below to learn more insights about the Jungli community.
